Deleting Martini packages

Deleting a package removes all of its applications from the instance in which it resides. Its respective directory is permanently removed from the file system and the package and its application units may no longer be used. This means that components that rely on it, like dependent packages, must be updated; otherwise they will fail to work.

To delete a package, follow the steps below:

Deleting a package

  1. Stop the package(s) you want to delete.
  2. If you're planning to delete multiple packages, select them all in the Navigator view. You will know a package is selected when it becomes highlighted. You can press the key to select adjacent packages or press the key and click to individually pick out packages. You may ignore this step if you only need to export a single package.
  3. Right click on the package you want to delete (any of the packages if multiple are selected). Select Delete from the appearing context menu.
  4. Confirm your action.
